I enjoyed this tour, but that was more so because of the superb places and the fantastic new friends - not necessarily because Topdeck went "above and beyond" to make the tour great. For the most part, my group was on our own to figure out the cities. We received very little direction from Topdeck, very few included or optional activities, very few recommendations or planned nights out. I would have liked a little bit more organisation, even on our "free" days - I have done several Contiki and Topdeck tours before, and this was the worst tour I've been on in terms of organisation (but don't get me wrong, the places on the tour are amazing). There was a major snafu at the beginning of the tour where everyone was sent to the wrong hotel. There were no "ice breakers" or any help with tour members getting to know each other, no "day song" or any of the fun little "extras" that we usually get with Contiki and Topdeck. I may travel with Topdeck again, but I'm going back to Contiki next year.

Great itinerary which allows you to delve deep into the history and culture of this amazing region of Europe. Week one was fantastic for learning about all the recent and past conflicts, with week two perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery

Without a doubt one of the most interesting and worthwhile trips I've taken. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, we had such a great time exploring the different places which I never would have seen had I travelled alone. Would definitely recommend!
